Being President of the United States is hard. Your schedule is packed, you’re getting pulled in a lot of different directions and you’ve got to be able to perform as if the world depends on it, because sometime it might.

Which makes this email given to Judicial Watch from Huma Abedin regarding Sec. of State Hillary Clinton.

The Abedin email material contains a January 26, 2013, email exchange with Clinton aide Monica Hanley regarding Clinton’s schedule in which Abedin says Clinton is “often confused:”Huma CROP

  • Abedin: Have you been going over her calls with her? So she knows singh is at 8? [India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh]
  • Hanley: She was in bed for a nap by the time I heard that she had an 8am call. Will go over with her
  • Abedin: Very imp to do that. She’s often confused.

What’s concerning about this isn’t the fact that a busy person gets confused about their schedule, but the history of health concerns regarding Clinton. Remember, in December 2012, Clinton reportedly fainted and suffered a concussion. Initially, CNN reported she fainted because she was dehydrated and the concussion was “not severe.”

In January 2013, just about a month later, CNN reported on Clinton being treated for a blood clot relating to the concussion. Again, nothing mentioned about it being bad. CNN reiterated she fainted from dehydration and made no mention of the concussion being bad.

However, in 2014, the Daily Caller reported that her husband, former President Bill Clinton told a much different story:

Hillary Clinton “required six months of very serious work to get over” a “terrible concussion” she suffered in December 2012, according to her husband, Bill Clinton.

At the time, doctors said the concussion caused a blood clot, which resulted in a multi-day stay for Hillary at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Remember, the email sent by Abedin was right around this time, which makes a person wonder if there was something more to this episode than dehydration and a busy schedule.

A book released in mid-2014 said her health issues were much worse than were being reported.

The 66-year-old former secretary of state has suffered more fainting spells than publicly known, is prone to have blood clots, and may be at serious risk of a stroke, according to the book, “Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas,” by Edward Klein.

In addition to a 2005 fainting spell during a speech in Buffalo, Hillary also fainted while boarding her plane in Yemen in 2009, which caused her to fall and fracture her elbow.

For some time, people have wondered if there were any lasting problems caused by the fall. It’s important to point out that earlier this year, Clinton released a letter from her doctor that said she was “fit and healthy enough to be president of the United States.”

“Mrs. Clinton is a healthy female with hypothyroidism and seasonal allergies, on long-term anticoagulation,” the doctor reportedly wrote. “She participates in a healthy lifestyle and has had a full medical evaluation, which reveals no evidence or additional medical issues or cardiovascular disease.”

“She is in excellent physical condition and fit to serve as president of the United States.”

She’s just easily confused, it seems. The email from Abedin isn’t an isolated instance. The New York Post lists email after email detailing moments of confusion for Clinton, from scheduling to actions she took that may have confused her staff.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton commented on the Abedin email, but didn’t draw any conclusions from her comment regarding Clinton’s confusion.

“I’m sure it is seen as an unfortunate email for supporters of Mrs. Clinton, but the email speaks for itself,” he said, according to The Daily Caller. “We presented it for everybody to read and reach their own conclusions about Mrs. Clinton’s conduct in office.”

Supporters of Clinton called the assertion that she’s easily confused a matter of desperation and politics.

What do you make of this? Is there more to the story or is this much ado about nothing?
